On February 2-3 the year 12 students went to Aldinga Bay Holiday Park. They were there for two days and one night. The year 12's went on this camp to learn strategies for surviving Year 12, build relationships with one another and to draw closer to God. Although the camp was short the year 12 class really enjoyed themselves. One of them had this to say about the camp "Mr Jones' devotions on the beach before having fish'n'chips topped off a wonderful time and it was a pity we couldn't have had longer".

Sports Day
On Friday the 9th of March Craigmore Christian School held the years 6-12 Sports Day. This was a very good day for those who participated. It was amazing weather and a beautiful green oval. The most memorable, momentous, mind-blowing component of the day was Mr Yarak as the Sports Day DJ He helped so much by announcing race times and marshaling details about the events. This helped the day to be very successful.
All of the teams put their best effort in to earning as many points for their community as possible. Elliot earned the most points and won the Sports day trophy.

Community Events
On Monday the 20th of February, two of the schools community houses held events for the community.
The Saint Community group had a Pancake Day and raised over $200 for the King Solomon Learning Centre in the Philippines. They cooked pancakes from the beginning to the end of lunch and although not all of the pancakes turned out well, they were still pretty good. A great effort from Saint.
The Fleming community group washed cars as a part of their community lesson the team got together and cleaned quite a few cars at no cost. I went to see how it was going and they did a really good job and it looked like they had a fun time doing it.
