RAA Street Smart

On Wednesday the 28th of February at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre the year 11 students attended a RAA Street Smart Youth Road Trauma Awareness Event.

This Event is help to make young drives more aware of road safety and the dangers of driving.
The students watched a simulation of what happens in a car crash to show them the consequences of thoughtless driving.

There were many different activities that the students could do during the lunch break such as looking at the equipment that is used during a car crash, speak to emergency service workers and some students were able to have their photo taken with some drivers of the Clipsal 500.

Year 12 Camp

On February 2-3 the year 12 students went to Aldinga Bay Holiday Park. They were there for two days and one night. The year 12's went on this camp to learn strategies for surviving Year 12, build relationships with one another and to draw closer to God. Although the camp was short the year 12 class really enjoyed themselves. One of them had this to say about the camp "Mr Jones' devotions on the beach before having fish'n'chips topped off a wonderful time and it was a pity we couldn't have had longer".
